Shipping Methods & Times

  • Shipping: Typically delivered within 3-10 business days.
  • International Shipping: We currently do not participate in International ShippingOrder Processing

Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Once shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email to follow your package every step of the way.

Heavy Item Shipping Policy
To keep our prices competitive on high-quality hair appliances, heavy or bulky electronics (such as hair dryers, clippers, and certain irons) are subject to a flat $4.99 heavy-item handling fee on orders over $75. If you purchase multiple heavy appliances in a single order, this handling fee is capped at a maximum of $7.99, no matter how many you buy. Smaller accessories (like durags, caps, and bands) always ship 100% free on orders over $75!

Returns & Exchanges

Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not completely happy with your purchase, we’re here to make the return or exchange process smooth, fair, and respectful.

Return Policy

  • Returns and exchanges are accepted within 7 days of purchase.
  • Items must be in their original condition and packaging.
  • For shopping at our physical locations We accept returns with or without a receipt for non-hygiene items—store credit may be issued if no receipt is provided.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
  • Opened hair care products (shampoos, conditioners, oils, etc.)
  • Customized or personalized items
  • Final sale items clearly marked as non-returnable

How to Return

  1. Contact our Customer Service team at support@blackpeopleshair.com
  2.  We’ll provide you with a Return Authorization and instructions on how to send your item(s) back.
  3. If there is a physical location near you can come and receive your refund, otherwise after contacting customer service and receiving return authorization you will mail your return to 1235 East Blvd Ste. E # 1634 Charlotte, NC 28203 
  4. Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or exchange promptly.

Exchanges

If you want to exchange a product for a different size, color, or style, please follow the return process and place a new order for your preferred item.
