Building Stronger Black Communities Together

At Black Peoples Hair Alliance, our mission goes beyond hair — we are deeply committed to uplifting and empowering the Black community by putting the PowerNomics vision, developed by Dr. Claud Anderson, into action. Inspired by Dr. Anderson’s principles of economic empowerment and community wealth building, we strive to create opportunities that ensure the money, resources, and influence generated within our community stay within it. From providing university scholarships to supporting local entrepreneurs, our initiatives are designed to strengthen schools, businesses, cultural programs, and institutions, fostering trust, pride, and growth across the Black community.

We also host community events that bring people together to celebrate culture, learn, and network, creating a strong foundation for collective advancement. By investing in these initiatives and supporting programs that empower individuals and neighborhoods alike, we ensure that the benefits of our success flow back into the people and communities we serve. Every action we take is guided by the belief that economic and social empowerment in the Black community is the key to long-term prosperity and self-determination.
